Hi! I’m Haley. This project is a 5 year plan to train and place psychiatric service dogs with individuals living with body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), such as skin picking (dermatillomania/excoriation disorder), hair pulling (trichotillomania), nail biting, etc. Later I will create a certification program for other dog trainers to help scale this cause.

As of April 2020, the first BFRB service dog for trichotillomania has been trained! Learn more about the current BFRB Dog process (starts with video conferencing) to receive and train a dog, and reach out to get on the waitlist.
